Requesting a commission

  • Please fill out the form on the contact page with as many details about your vision as you can. Photos can be both uploaded to the form and emailed to: muttdeco@gmail.com

Sharing a description of the subject, the vibe you’re going for and any specific elements will help in understanding the direction and concept of the project.

  • Please provide photos with the subject/s as the main focus (filling most of the frame), ideally in natural daylight. If you would like any accessories or backgrounds as part of the artwork, please also provide reference images of these as well.

  • I usually respond to enquiries within 2-3 business days.

Commission Process

  • 1. You submit a request form with details about the proposed artwork and high quality reference photos.

    2. Once reviewed, I will email you to confirm I will take on the request and outline next steps. An invoice and request link to pay a non-refundable 50% deposit will be provided.

Once the 50% payment is confirmed, the commission work begins.

    3. I will email you a work-in-progress (WIP) sketch so we can fine-tune the direction if needed. You can request upto 3 revisions for free.

Following your confirmation of the WIP sketch, I will complete the artwork.

    4. After the commission is complete, I will email you the final invoice along with a request link to pay the final 50% of the total commission price.

    5. Upon receipt of the final payment, I will email you the final high-res file along with a copy of the usage rights.

  • At WIP Sketch stage, you can request upto 3 free revisions; any additional revisions will be charged. Post-approval of the WIP Sketch, if you wish to make any changes I will charge you a fee to change it, unless there is a misunderstanding on my end. The amount of extra charge depends on the change you want me to make and is usually based on an hourly wage.

  • I aim for 2-8 weeks whenever possible, artworks may take longer depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned piece and other work.

  • Final commission files are approximately 210 x 297 mm (A4) at 300 DPI, and usually delivered in PNG format. Online-friendly format of 1080x1920 at 72DPI in JPEG format is also available.

Pricing & Payments

  • Semi-real portraits start at £150 and stylised portraits start at £35.

  • Payments can be made via Stripe and PayPal. BACS is also available for UK customers.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit will be requested before commission work begins and I have emailed to confirm I will take on the commission. The final 50% of the total commission price will be requested when the commission is complete.

  • No, I don’t offer payment plans at this time.

  • • The buyer is not allowed a refund once I started working on the commission.

    • If for any reason I am unable to start your commission you will receive a full refund.

    • If you cancel your order before I started it, you can get a full refund.

    • If you are getting a refund, do not request a Paypal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.

    • If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund you will lose all before mentioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply Paypal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.
